Fun Facts:

Q. How long have you been at the practice?

I have been at Newburyport Family Practice since 2015.

Q. What made you want to pursue a career in medicine?

I have dreamed of practicing medicine since I was a young child. I was a “premie” baby and heard stories from my parents of how the medical providers helped and supported them. I wanted to return that care to others.

Q. What do you like most about medical care?

I love being in a Family Practice as it allows you to see a mix of people. You get to know the families and make connections with people over a longer period of time.

Q. What is your favorite TV show? Medical TV show?

I don’t really have a favorite TV show, but my family and I enjoy watching Masterpiece Theater, American Mom, and Young Sheldon.

Q. What is your favorite holiday & why?

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the decorations and beautiful lights everywhere. It helps to bright everything up when the days are so short.

Q. What’s your favorite children’s story?

My favorite children’s story is Where the Wild Things Are. It was my father’s favorite story to read to us as kids, and now it is one of my favorite stories to read to my daughter.

Q. What is your favorite piece of health advice?

Stay active. Your standard exercises such as weights, walking, etc are great – but there are a multitude of additional ways to stay active. Playing with your kids, running around with the dog, or simply dancing to music while doing the dishes are laundry are great ways to stay active within your daily routine.
